Have Pink Floyd done any music videos?

I was just wondering if Pink Floyd ever did any music videos. I'm not talking about documentary or live concert videos, but music videos, like you would see on MTV. I hate MTV, but I was just curious.

Sure. This list is probably incomplete but they produced videos for: Another Brick in The Wall part 2, Not Now John, The Fletcher Memorial Home, The Final Cut, The Gunner's Dream, Learning To Fly, Take It Back, High Hopes.
They also released videos for On The Turning Away, Keep Talking and Wish You Were Here but they were basically showing the band playing live (WYWH was an excerpt from Pulse video).

Another 1

I have also seen a video done for "Welcome to the Machine".
It wasn't anything really visual, basically just random drawings and sloppy animation. Can't be more specific unless I take it outa mothballs, but it wasn't very memorable, believe me.

Yes, you're correct. As a matter of fact, Roger Waters in his 2002 World Tour plays that video in the background, while they play "Welcome to the Machine", which was pretty cool, even though the video is somewhat primitive.

All those videos can be found on Kazaa, even the Final Cut ones. Some weeks ago, I managed to download the "The Final Cut" video. It has left me on the verge of tears...

We also plan to make these available here, if you can wait a few weeks until we sort things out.

If you live in the UK and have VH1 watch it at about 6:20 this evening. They got top 100 albums, DSotM is 12, so start watching bout 6:15 to make sure.

They got things that seem to be videos from that album, not the whole things, just lil clips.

Theres otherside of the wall and a 2 part documentary called retrospective. Both found on the wall dvd

As for music videos if you go to the officail website you can download a program that will stream some of the music videos/promo videos from echoes.

Is hey you from the wall considered a music video? It looks like one.

I don't know if it's the same doco, but I happened to be browsing, uh, another Floyd site and saw mention of a 2 hour Roger documentary on MTV.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Mark

I believe there is. There is the one that is basically that song's part of the main film (with the marching kids and the burning of the school). There is also another one on The Wall DVD - it shows the large schoolmaster puppet, and also shows a small little crowd of kids singing to their part.

Haven't been here for a while..

Anyway I have a Brain Damage / Eclipse video on my pc. It's complete apart from about 5 or so seconds cut off the end and is collection of clips of things exploding (including copies of DSOTM) and world leaders tied into the music starting off in a hospital.
