I still don't know what to think about that movie...Rocky Horror Picture Show that is. All I can say is Tim Curry definitely worked those ladies' undergarments.

I'm not a big fan of the testtube man love aspect, though.

:o Shane G., there's more to you than at first one would assume.

Rocky Horror, eh?

Gerald: well, get over it. Move on.

My favorite song from Rocky Horror is still the one that goes "Dammit, Janet!"

Rock Horror is a good enough film, if only for it's cheesy aspects. I've seen the film about 25 times, but never in theatre.

And I can't really decide which song is my favorite. I think all of them are amusing in some respect.

I've never seen the Rocky Horror Picture Show in the theater, but I have seen it many times. Enough that I, too, know almost every line. My friends and I watch it every New Year. The DVD kicks ass.

I like Terry Gilliam's movies. Don't know if they count as funny though. What about Lost in La Mancha?

Some of Bill Murray's movies are funny, and Steve Martin.

And Guy Ritchies two movies (not counting Swept Away)

Certainly not all of Gilliam's movies count as comedy. I mean, come on-- 12 Monkeys?

Well it depends how you look at it. I mean a lot of his stuff is quite satirical like Brazil, and I'd count that as comedy.

I tend to classify a film as comedy only if its main thrust is for the sake of humor; Brazil, The Fisher King, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas-- while each of these has humor elements to it (including satire), they have purposes that far exceed those claimed by comedies.

Fair enough. That's true. Though that would probably rule out Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels as well as Snatch even though they are comic.
