Perhaps "Please Don't Bury Me" by John Prine...

I posted this before, but I'll share again:

My will states my funeral plans are to have myself stuffed, standing one arm outstretched with finger pointing, and placed at the foot of my wife's bed with a sign around my neck saying "J'accuse!".

I want to be cremated and made into a guitar. I want that guitar to be buried in a casket in the cemetery where SRV is buried.

That's a little odd to say the least, Joey...

Hmm... let's see now...

The intro to SOYCD would have to be there, me feels...
The Spirit Carries On - Dream Theater
Who Wants To Live For Ever - Queen

Maybe a few more, but that's all I can think of at the moment.

Erotomania/Voices/The Silent Man/The Mirror/Lie - Dream Theater. (they are all connected) That would be a kickass way to send me off.

I would probably go with either the first four songs on DSOTM which i always think of as one piece or marooned. Heck who knows maybe by the end of the songs some will join me up above....

Agreed. To be sent off by anyone capable of playing Erotomania properly would be a good way to go.

I can play most of it. I can't play the final solo, the real classical one that makes you go "HOLY SHIT!!!!!"

I'd want to be cremated of course, then they could play 'smoke on the water' while they spread me across an ocean or somethin..either that or 'another one bites the dust' but it's been said too many times
