Not necessarily all of the weird 60s habits should be repeated.

Or all of the weird music either, things have to move on whether you approve or not.

In fact I quite like weird music. I think that's why I listen to Pink Floyd. BTW Let's hope the things won't move backwards. Another eighties ( ) would be the end of the road for me.

I haven't heard your song, Chrissy. I've been too busy listening for Radiohead and Evanescence on the radio at work. *

Have you listened to the White Stripes yet, Chrissy? HUH?!

*not a joke

righto, I have a confession to make..... sigh...... here goes...... I actually like the stuff that Justin Timberlake is doing.. there I said it. and now you may be pondering as to why. Well upon some close inpsection and listening i have realised that it's better than most of the pop out there now. He reminds me of michael jackson in many ways, he's pop but has developed an interesting sound of his own... so there it is, i don't care if you all try and shun me now, I'm just saying what I like, and god the man can dance!

anyway, I'll be leaving now, incidentally for all you cynical bastards out there go and visit the "today's music rules" thread and have a listen to some of the bands listed there, there is some very high quality stuff listed

cheers

You should all do yourselves a favour and buy "O" by Damien Rice.Best music I've heard in a long time.Saw him live after seeing Radiohead at a festival and couldn't believe how much better he was.And coming from a Radiohead fan, thats praise.I gotta admit,I lost faith in new music until this album was released.

Future Of Music

The above, and another now deleted DDT, was posted within a now locked thread.

There was another, similar post by Rabid Monkey but I botched the copy'n'paste project. Ooops!

Sorry, Rabid Monkey.

i agree with the original topic, modern music that comes on the radio sux c**k! what is good today doesnt come on the friggin radio becuase of little retard pop/punk/rap groups come out here and take up the limelight. May they fall soon, so great music can return to the radio in mass media form!
