The world is growing tired of the same sort of stuff that got pumped out during the 80s and 90s.. The indie scene is growing.. you just gotta tap into it.

I agree with most of what you all are sayin'. but there always has been and always will be pop crap leading the charts. I guess it sells. But there are still bands that make a difference( Radiohead, PJ Harvey, NIN,)to name a few. I find myself listening to other styles of music that i never tapped into before (Classical, Country, Reggage). My mom is a musician She has played the violin for over 50 years and she likes everything from Rock to Celtic to Classical and she always says that the only shame about music is that you will never have the time to hear it all.

I agree, Indie (in America at least) is becoming not Independent Music anymore (there are plenty of independent artists which i enjoy alot) and more becoming a certain specific sound called Indie that trendy hipsters tend to like. So many bands that were/are considered indie are on a subdivision of a major label now its kind of sad.

So fucking what. Music is music. Enjoy what you like. Don't bitch about labels.
