| Re: Followup to "question about Piper" Yup, I dug up my Stereo Piper and I can hear it too. It's only in the left channel though. Probably just a result of careless mixing on Norman Smith's part. It's not there in the mono Piper, so my suggestion to you (as always in cases like this where people have problems with the antiquated production values of this album) would be to track down a mono Piper CD.

| Re: Followup to "question about Piper" Exactly. That's why it's cool to find later Beatles albums (Sgt. Pepper's, White Album) on mono vinyl - because they are different mixes. There's little differences in between the two different mixes, on both of the above albums. |
