About Who's John Entwistle death

I have just read about the death of The Who's John Entwistle.
Rock'n'Roll has lost one of their best bass players ever today.

Not to sound to harsh, but I think you're overdoing it a little.

What a coincidence, I bought my first-ever Who album today. (Who's Next). I must have cursed the poor bastard.

Damn, stratters, he probably would have lived for ages if you hadn't put the knackers on him with your purchase.

Kiss of death or what?

Hmm... interesting.

Stratman... I hope you don't buy a David Bowie album soon. That man deserves to live!

Could you please purchase the following tomorrow:

N'SYNC - Any album

That's enough to be getting on with.

Don't worry Shane, David sidestepped the curse. I already have one of his albums. (Changes) I'm a closet Bowie fan.

Well, Stratman, if your ability holds true, than I guess you won't want to buy any Pink Floyd albums you don't have.

Luckily, I have all their albums. I'm hoping the curse won't be valid with bootlegs.

Awesome. He's one of my favorite musical guys, along with the Beatles and Radiohead (and PF, of course). I guess those are my Big 4 - I don't listen to much else.

Well..
If there was no Entwhistle, there would be no Who. If there was no Who, there wouldn't have been as many hard rock bands of the 70's. There wouldn't be a Rush or Primus. The bass would have remained an instrument solely for rhythm.

He's pretty much the first bassist who turned it up to ten and made himself heard--and many hard rockers are indebted to that.
