...oh god. Music to recommend? Uhm. Well, there's the big 5...the who, Led Zeppelin, Floyd (naturally), Black Sabbath, and...Jimi Hendrix. Okay, here goes. James Gang, Joe Walsh (up to "There Goes The Neighborhood," but there's a few good tracks in the post-70's era), Brian Eno, Nine Inch Nails, grunge-era Pearl Jam (if you've got Kazaa, check out the video for "Jeremy"--it may be a bit disturbing. I get chills, goosebumps, and this weird feeling when I see it), Nirvana, Talking Heads (up to "Little Creatures,") Boomtown Rats (Floydian connection; I saw The Fine Art of Surfacing--a CD that's been out of print for years--in the used rack at a store, thought, "Hey, Bob Geldof leads this band. And he played Pink in The Wall movie. I'll buy it." It was worth all $5.99--hell, it'd be worth the $20 were it new.), David Byrne (yes, he was in Talking Heads, but he's got a nice solo career, too), Sex Pistols, Ramones, John Entwhistle's "Smash Your Head Against the Wall" (it's great even for non-Who fans), Primus, Jerry Harrison (also of Talking Heads, but both his CD realeases are out of print. I've got his stuff and I'm downloading kazaa right now...bastards had to sue Audiogalaxy. Dammit, Lars), David Bowie (I've only thoroughly heard his earlier stuff), Die Toten Hosen (it's not worth buying a $35 import from Germany, but it's cool to download for the hell of it), Oingo Boingo, most any new wave stuff (I don't know why, but the synth and the corny lyrics just go so well together), Elton John, Billy Joel, Yes, Moody Blues, Gorillaz (I pretty much hate hip-hop, but I still like the group...and there is more to them than "Clint Eastwood"), Huey Lewis, Slade (I happened to find them flipping through my father's vinyl collection), Jethro Tull, Ozzy Osbourne, Boz Scaggs, Eric Clapton, Queen, KoRn (any other nu-metal sucks),... ....hmm. Well, that's all I can think of at the moment. And I wanted to go on a bit more about Talking Heads... ...no one song (or album) best represents their music...the early stuff is 50's bubblegum rock with an art-geek twist, the third's indescribeable, the fourth one is pretty funky, the fifth one is new-wave/discoish (yes, in spite of the "This ain't no party!/This ain't no disco!" line), and the sixth one is unlike the pervious ones. Take your pick. Welll...if I think of anything else, I'll keep it to myself; the list's good enough.

And, just to brag, I'm only 16. Just imagine...what the future holds. ('Imagine'...oh, shoot. Forgot the Beatles.)

The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Queen, some Daft Punk songs, a few Offspring songs and stuff. Guns and roses? Shit? Did you ever listen to "November Rain"? I guess not.

Is it good 'cuz it has orchestration? I hate that song. Their lyrics suck, too. My real point was that if Wolverine Blues is shit than so is apetite for destruction. IMO
