Well I didn't feel like reading all of the other posts (I know that sounded lazy and mean, sorry) so I'm not really sure what other people have said, but here's what I'm recommending (regardless of whether or not it's been said already):

Blind Melon
Nine Inch Nails (I KNOW this one's been said, but I'll say it again!)
Veruca Salt (if you like alternative rock)
Pearl Jam -- before "No Code"
Bauhaus (Goth music is not too impressive but I like these guys)
KISS -- specifically "Love Gun"
Pantera -- specifically "Vulgar Display of Power"

I don't know, there are so many others but they've all been said and I don't want to repeat THAT much.

There is something about that creepy Peter Murphy that's cool. And Daniel Ash always seems to find a hook.

Man, I love Peter Murphy. What an arrogant son-of-a-bitch! There's something about all these egotistical men... I always pick out the jerk!

I agree, Bauhaus seems to have found a spot in my heart as well, just keep Marylin away. I hate Goth in all other forms.

Oedipus Rex Complexus.

I'm not a massive goth fan myself, having grown out of frilly shirt cuffs and 'pallid' complexions a very, very long time ago. However, I can still heartily recommend 'The Nephilim' by Fields of The Nephilim. It is a goth album, but there is sooooo much more to it than that, including shades of Mototrhead, Leonard Cohen and, more cheerfully, our very own Pink Floyd. Also, anything that samples the original Omen film is alright by me.

I'd 100% recommend that you all invest in this album.

Cheers,

Mark

yes, im out of the closet, i do listen to rap!
'Forgot about Dre' is my favorite rap song.

Eels... 'I like birds', fantastic, and also i remember someone saying they liked the Shrek soundtrack which has 'My Beloved Monster' by the eels on, another excellent song!

And i also love 'Perfect Day' by Lou Reid, fabtabulous!
