Re: Pink Floyd Music Videos

How can they have videos. Videos weren't invented until the 80's- none of thier earlier stuff has been videoed, and I can't imagine them starting.......

Talking Silly Man

Musicians have been filmed since the dawn of 'talkies'. Seen 'Arnold Layne'? Just because a film/song doesn't conform to the MTV cookie cutter doesn't mean that it isn't 'documented music on film'.

Goddamn, MTV dumbed down everyone. Its not your fault.

So, I take it that no one knows the NAME of the guy in the LEARNING TO FLY video?

Please...someone...anyone...where is my Floyd Fanatic?

Yeah, i heard about that. Is it not like a big sea of blood and some stainless steal buildings or something? It was on some retrospective thingy on BBC Radio 2, but they were saying it was used as a backdrop for the song on tour. Done by Gerald Scarfe as well.

I noticed the videos on p.u.l.s.e. as well, i'd love to see those in proper format.

Re: Pink Floyd Music Videos

I've seen videos to See Emily Play, Arnold Layne, Welcome to the Machine, the usual "The Wall" videos, Take it Back and High Hopes
Besides, music videos were "invented" way before the 80's, i think the first one was Let it Be or Bohemian Rhapsody...

Explain why then, there are videos for the likes of Arnold Layne...

Re: Pink Floyd Music Videos

From what I've seen on the Classic Albums making of DSOTM DVD there seems to be a video for the whole of the DSOTM album.
