Arrow New Dark Side of the Moon theme and new logo on the "Old Board" themes

We have just released a new theme, based on "The Dark Side of the Moon". To select it, please go to your Control Panel, select "Edit Options" and on the very bottom of the page change your Style Set to "The Dark Side of the Moon". Many thanks to Inzagol for making the new logo for this theme.

We have also updated the "Old Board" themes with a new logo, by Inzagol as well.

We hope you enjoy this. Please be aware there may be some minor glitches with the colors. If you ever come across some color that does not fit in, please let us know and we'll have it fixed ASAP.

Quick Reply Box

By the way, I know the Quick Reply box (the box under every thread that allows you to quick reply to that thread) colors are not fitting in that well. I'm still trying to figure out a way to change that. Thanks for understanding!

Nice one, Inzagol- Looks great P!

Cheers,

Marko

ps- I reckon a meddle theme might be pretty nice too: Watery ripples and a lovely submarine green. Tasty.

Believe me, fixxy, that is definately on my mind. I already have the colors done for that. All I'm missing is the graphics: a cool logo and the background... If anyone wants to give it a shot...

Just wanted to say that I am currently trying the new DSOTM board look, and it seems to be working (and certainly looking) great.

I wonder, perhaps an albatross would be a fitting part of the logo for the Meddle theme? Just a random thought--I'll leave the design to those who are more capable!

Pictures like this really remind me of Meddle...

This is a wandering albatross, a species that is in some danger of extinction.

Do you think this or a similar picture could be of use to the real artists here?

I realize I in no way contributed to any of the previous logo runs, but I've started working with this one just to give my ol' Photoshop something to do. If anyone cares.

Don't feel guilty, Gerald. Out of curiosity, what kind of logo/background are you doing? Or would you rather wait until it's finished to reveal it?

Right now I have the albatross from the picture you donated (touched up a bit for color and whatnot) hanging motionless over the back cover of the album (with the ripples). I'm trying to find a suitable font.... if anyone has any ideas, let me know.

Wow, sounds neat.

Though this might not make sense, I think the font you use shouldn't be as "hard" as what you might associate with Animals or The Wall. While there's no need to go overboard with frills, I think there's more of an open, freer feeling that goes with this album.
