If it's as full of spyware, adware and that bloody trojan as the last version they can stick it where the sun don't shine !!

Kazaalite is a fully functional version with all the "extras" removed.

While we are on the topic, i have recieved information from a reliable source that KAZAA is going to shut down. The owner (the name of whom i have forgoten) is no longer able to afford fighting off lawers and cases concerning copyright laws and music ownership.

The damn musicians just wont let it be! They already have their millions of dollars, but theyre still going after the measily pennies that are seeping through their fingers thanks to Kazaa and napster and other similar type companies. (i could be sturring the mother-load here...)

I think it is more the record companies, rather than the artists themselves, who are screaming about all that lovely money that they are missing out on, shame.

I don't think they will ever stamp out p2p file sharing, as fast as they shut one network down another springs up to take it's place - has shutting down Napster affected anything ?? I think not, people just move on to the next new pogramme that comes along and carry on as before. What it probably will mean is that instead of getting stuff from one organisation, eg Audiogalaxy, you will probably have to dig around a bit more and use two or three or more.

There are so many other programs out there.. I doubt we'll be buying CD's anytime soon.. Check out programs such as Grokster, Morpheus, LimeWire, WinMX, BearShare, etc. (btw, first post!)

I gave up on Morpheus after it was updated and suddenly didn't work anymore , my favourite was Audiogalaxy (RIP ), now I use KaZaAlite, winmx and filetopia.

Yes, my morpheus got updated and suddenly stoped working too, so i switched to kazaa, but there is one thing about the internet that i have discovered, being a kind of computer geek and all (i preffer the name "computer literate"), that if u want something really, REALLY bad, you'll eventually find it; weather it be with the p2p system or without.
