Chat Room

I have recently been struck by an idea. Soon after regaining consciousness, i decided to post it up here. As much as i like using this forum myself, i suggest that we put up a chat room; it’s not a very complicated or expensive thing to do (unless there are costs of which i am not aware of) and it would allow users (and maybe guests?) to interact in real time. It would sure eliminate the double responses on a lot of the threads. Plus it's a lot funner! I would like to hear something from Piper himself concerning this idea.

P.S. As well, i would greatly appreciate if people did not bash me if such an idea was already suggested previously.

Yes, there used to be one, and this is something that is currently on my "to do" list, to implement a new chat room that will be integrated with the current forums.

Could we get one that's exclusive to members of this site?

For the time being, you can get to the chat room we used to use through www.cyberpinkstation.com. You'll have to hunt around a little bit, but it's listed under "Floydian Chat".

Just thought that with all these new cats and young bucks joining the site, it would be pertinant to have some sort of agenda that says, well, "Grrrrr".

Hey- sometimes some of the magic gets lost in the explanation.

On the subject of the chat room, I seem to remember that originally, the problem was that your website membership was considerably lower, so there was a good chance that very few members would be online at the same time and it made sense then to have a shared room. However, there are considerably more registered chaps now, so it would be cool to see how an independent room would fare.

Agreed, lets jsut hope it don't stop us from posting, we could all become so bus talking to each other we'll stop posting. MAybe, perhaps, unlikely really now that I think about it. Go the chat room

no more optimus. i've had him for far too long. everytime i try to replace him someone mentions that they want him back. i still have the .gif in my computer. so he may return one day. hey kind of like in the cartoon. anyways this post is getting to be something or other.
