Hey all, just saying hi, and im kinda new here, not really because i used to come here alot to print off guitar tabs, and read the lyrics,and i finally decided to join, yadda yadda, anyway, great site, im not a very articulate speaker (or typist, so just bear with me here)

i don't understand why there has to be a thread for this. i remember there was another like this called "welcome new user".

I don't think there's anything wrong with a new thread for the welcoming of a new member. Not every new member posts a thread to welcome themselves... they aren't exactly cluttering up the boards.

my opinion is who cares if someone is new. we will get that you are new when you start posting as we will notice the new name.

What I mean to say is that the entire time I have been here, I have only seen maybe 4 'welcome' threads... and we've had a lot more registered users join up since then.

well thank goodness not everyone is thinking the same way.

And if the above 'great' is in exasperation, just let me say that I have nothing against you, Thorin. Whatever I type is just a suggestion.
