| Re: Since I am new, who here plays guitar? I do. Not great but the only real talent I have is a bit of picking up sight reading quickly. I also only do Classical, its something about the action of strumming I cant really do, so I have to resort to licks and solo material. That is so completely backwards. There's only a few non classical tunes I practise which include making up my own, Man of the World and Zoot Allures.

| Re: Since I am new, who here plays guitar? Now I'm new here. Tomorrow? Just traded a Callaham "S Type" for a CpThornton Fusion s/s/h, and I am going to it everytime I walk into the studio! My '62 Stratocaster with CS'54 pups nails the early sounds Mr. Gilmour achieved (wish I could play like him), and to my suprise...the Fusion does as well. And his current(?) sounds to boot! The humbucker rumbles the floorboards while playing Sorrow! I am so anamored with my new axe that I feel compelled to help Mr. Gilmour (or perhaps Mr. Phil Taylor), become aware of this guitar. I think they'd be blown away. Well...as much as I enjoy talking about music, it's time for me to go and play some.
