Yeah, I heard about that too...very VERY interesting! Perhaps this complicates the Waters-Gilmour relationship (or rather lack of one). THOUGHT: if Sarah and Harry got together, what would you think the chances are of a Roger/Dave reconciliation and (gasp) a Pink Floyd reunion?!?! AH! :o

An Italian website, usually reliable, and on another Floyd board... and it seems that even meddling echo has heard of this fact.

You can substitute July with a month of your choice - the weather's crap all year round

If I had the cash, love, I'd be there already! LOL I was there for David's shows, remember, in the middle of January, and I absolutely LOVED it!

I'm a cold weather type, you see... I don't know if it's my ancestry or what, but I love cool/cold weather. I always have - in fact, when I was but a child, I would sleep with my window open throughout the winter when there was snow on the ground.

So, England sounds just about right for me. Wanna trade places? LOL

Cheers!

Me too! God, sometimes I feel like a Brit misplaced. Everything about England is appealing to me, I wish I could trade places with someone! I love rainy cold weather, and most of the time I slip into British accents without even realising it! I even spell colour and favourite with a "u"! I think I have fish and chips running through my veins.
(Not to mention that everything good came out of Britain, ahem ahem: Pink Floyd)

I agree with you on the last comment. PF is one of our greatest exports. I don't like the weater though (I probably like it secretly or I'm just used to it)

Nice to know you can spell properly though. (American English is sooooo crappy).

I've noticed the only people who say they like the British climate are people who live in places with great weather , after saying that last year we had a two week holiday in Crete and it was so HOT it was a relief to get back home to some crappy cold weather
Horses for courses I guess.

Guilty. (from L.A.)

But it's spooky how you say you're misplaced Brits. When I finally stopped wussing out and got to know the place better, HELLO! 21 years later...

This reminds me of last year in school, it was English class and without realizing it, i had a "few" spelling errors. I had so many that I got a zero on it... any way the three words on it that got flack "breathe" "colour" and "Favour". But at least the paper wasn't about Maggie and the post-war dream

That's unjust.

Once, last year, I had to spell 'defense' out for my English class. I ended up spelling it the British way (d-e-f-e-n-C-e), with a C. I got humiliated. Damn.
