Relaxing songs?

Which Floyd song lets you in a relaxed state of mind?
I'd say Breathe In The Air.

Their instrumentals usually do it for me -- I love relaxing to "Marooned."

While not officially a Floyd song, "Let's Get Metaphysical" does it for me, too. Aaahhh....

i'd say pretty much Echoes or Shine On (which puts me in a trance like state). Dark Side as a whole relaxes me, but I could see in particular Breathe.

Echoes or maybe Breathe... I don't know. The Floyd is generally relaxing.

"Echoes"...very relaxing indeed, like a whole journey through the subconscious.

"The Great Gig in the Sky"--PULSE version, especially.

"Cluster One"--Can't miss out this one. Simple, pleasing...reminds me of a fall day before it becomes too chill, with the wind blowing leaves about.

"See-Saw"...makes me want to put my feet up, close my eyes, and float away. That river sounds very pleasant...I usually stop ASoS before it gets to "Jugband Blues"--I like to end on this nice note.

Not to mention almost the whole of Wet Dream.

Breathe---yes.
Great Gig? With all due respect, F-W, those screeching women have the opposite effect on me.

I think "Julia Dream", and "Cirrus Minor" are relaxing. Also, surprisingly, "Careful with that Axe...."

On PULSE, it doesn't seem so much like a screech as when Clare Torry does it. In my opinion, anyway.

Yeah, I agree, Clare Torry sounds like someone twisting a cat's tail. I do like the PULSE version, esp. Sam Brown's(?) solo. (The first one in the song). Her solo is beautiful.

i dont like the pulse version - never did really like the sound of female vocals in the first place (except maybe Stevie Nicks when she was in Fleetwood Mac...), and on pulse, they just go on for far too long.

actually i prefer the relative screechyness on DSotM...

i guess Learning to Fly is a good relaxing song.... & Comfortably Numb
