Dark Side of the Moon, easily. But techinically The Wall sold more vinyl because it's a 2-record set.

I think (I'm almost sure) that worldwide Dark Side is number 1 even with the double-disc-counting for The Wall (which is the normal way to count for double albums). I think that TW is their number 1 in USA though.

According to RIAA, The Wall sold 23 million copies, while The Dark Side of the Moon sold 15 million. Pink Floyd is the sixth best selling group with 68.50 million copies sold, just below The Beatles, Garth Brooks, Led Zeppelin, Elvis Presley and Billy Joel.

Yes, but these are USA numbers only, as I said. Worldwide Pink Floyd have sold more than 160 million copies, and I think that with Echoes they improved the record, probably passing the 170 million mark.

I can't believe in the existence of a cowboy that can sell more than Led Zeppelin in USA.

I did a bit o research on this.

I found somewhere sayin that DSotM sold 38million world wide

This makes some sense when i found a place saying that in the UK it sold 23million. My ability at maths helped me discover that 15million (found by The Piper) added to 23million makes 38million.

So my guess is that the it sold more than this, because this is only UK and US.

Baby Floyd you truely do have a depth of wisdom equaled only by your avitar (or the person(ish thing) contained in it to be more exact)!

Ok, its true I am trying to sleep with baby floyd.

Piper@Gates: Not trying to be snooty or anything, but you do know the word in your status line is spelt, "recreation", yes? It's just been quietly driving me bananas not saying anything, but now, I feel better.
