Re: Pulse DVD?

Any chance of a Wearing the Inside Out version? I don't know if it was part of the show or not. Another vote for Poles Apart! Always thought those two should have been on the live album.

Re: Pulse DVD?

Wearing The Inside Out was indeed rehearsed but never performed during the show. Rehearsal footage with this kind of material would be an awesome bonus which I would add to Botley's list.

They played Marooned a couple of times in Europe but I don't know about the Earl's Court and at the moment I can't be arsed to check the exact dates

Re: Pulse DVD?

"Marooned" was only played once by Pink Floyd, to my knowledge... in Valle Hovind, Oslo, Norway, on August 30, 1994.

But Big Dave played it solo, last year at the Strat Pack show. So it'll end up on DVD soon enough... possibly sooner than PULSE itself.

Yeah, but it's not the same without Rick. I don't remember who's playing the piano with Dave but it's something absolutely conventional and anonimous, poles apart from Rick Wright's distinctive playing. I don't like that version.

How do you know all this stuff? I mean, seriously, it's unbelieveable sometimes.

Impressive, and useful, but unbelieveable, nonetheless.

Re: Pulse DVD?

Actually, having the inclination, it's sufficient to research a bit through the internet, most of the times.

Re: Pulse DVD?

Yannis is right. I can easily Google what I don't remember.

Part of it was played off a tape before the shows actually started, as part of the "Soundscape" which is on the PULSE audio cassette. It would be nice to have it in digital form, so maybe the whole thing will crop up on the DVD as a bonus feature (perhaps underneath an image gallery?)...

Re: Pulse DVD?

True, all the info Botley gives is to be found on the internet quite easily, you'll just have to be interested. Which i'm not.

I love the piano part from Strat Pack.
