Pulse DVD?

I read on a site that they have to redo the sound or something for the dvd so itll probally be in stereo. Thats why theres such a delay.

Sorry but Pulse is already a stereo (analogue but stereo) recording. If they have to remix it (as Gilmour stated) this means they are porting it in 5.1

Pulse is really good

a concert without Roger can't be the best

It can be if its PULSE. I just think its better than any of the concerts released when Roger was in the band. Besides, I prefer David's singing.

I thought that Syd was the Creator. Or maybe even God. Or maybe The Piper, aka Paulo, Creator and God of this here site. You have to be more specific.

Syd was the first creator. Then PF has changed totally style following Roger.

I really don't like delicate sound of thunder
the songs versions aren't as good and intense as in pulse

Live at Pompei would be great in 5.1 , because the sound cuality is very poor in the tape

should i buy the vhs of dsot or wait for the dvd? is it good enough to spend the extra money on?

I dont think you can buy DSOT anymore, unless its on ebay or used somewhere. Its out of print.

I am wondering where you guys heard the Pulse dvd and DSOT are coming out. Is it still set for Sept.?

DSOT has been played, more than once, on VH1 Classic.

I would wait for the DVD. Pulse is by far a better video and a better concert but probably the special contents are going to improve the overall quality of DSOT.

I don't dig a lot of things about DSOT. PULSE, I think, is a much better show and just has better content. Particularly, in PULSE they didn't have that freak of a sax player with the huge mullet...but i guess such were the times in the 80's.
