| I'd just like to say, although probably not in the current top 5,Jonny Greenwood from Radiohead will be in the future top five.If you saw his Jools Holland performance on Go to Sleep. The man is quick on guitar. If Radiohead go back along the guitar route,he will be the greatest.

| In no particular order: 1. Pete Townshend (one of the greatest songwriters of all time) 2. David Gilmour (can play a great solo if he trys) 3. George Harrison (his playing always has a touch of emotion) 4. Jimi Hendrix (wild, crazy, and awesome!) 5. Steve Howe (can play a bunch of different styles, and has interesting solos. A classical guitarist joining a prog rock band was a great choice.) It really annoys me when people hear a guitarist blaze out this lightning fast solo that's just a mush of notes and they think that's good. Notes don't matter if they don't fit the song and the mood. |

| Are you kidding me goofball? (nothing personal) Santana is great. Have you ever heard Lotus (1973)? or Caravanserai (1972)? Stop juding him by the last two albums, which are a clear sell-out I agree. Check out Lotus and then tell me what do you think.
