Did you know that Peter Frampton's father was the music teacher in the school attended by George Harrison and Eric Clapton?.... Old Man Frampton gave Georgie and Eric their frist guitar lessons.......Or so I've heard.

Hmmmm. I did a little digging....Actually Peter's father Owen Frampton was an Art/Music teacher at Bromley Tech. Peter attended school there along with another young musical prodigy, a lad by the name of David Jones. Young mister Jones went on to fame and fashion, but seeing as how a member of the pop, Saturday morning TV group "The Monkees" went by the moniker Davey Jones, the lad from Bromley changed his nom de plume to......David Bowie. The lads would sit and jam in the cafateria after school apparently.

Sorry for the misinformation on the Clapton/Harrison connection....Urban Legends and all.

The Bowie connection is still pretty cool though..huh?

Apparently you don't feel like we do. I wish you could show me the way to your line of thinking. It's a plain shame that something's happening and you just can't seem to heed the winds of change. I'll give you money, a penny for your thoughts if you can tell me why he killed the talk box. Look, All I want to be is by your side on this matter.

Gerald, your a great guy, Baby I love your way of doing things. But if we can't agree on Frampton then I wanna go to the sun and just shine on.

You listen to 'Do You Feel Like We Do?' and you go 'Gee, that's a pretty neat effect,' but he overdid it ad nauseum to the point that no now one ever uses talk box because it's already been slaughtered by Frampton.

No, I understood fully. I'm not enough of a moron that I don't get it when someone is formatting their language to include song hooks. I just thought I'd communicate my point more effectively.

1 Dave Gilmour- some... did I say some... i mean all of his guitar solos are awe inspiring.

2 Mason Williams - classical gas need i say more.

3 TREY ANASTASIO - that guy can jam for like 20 hours on one song.

4 Clapton - Songs like Layla make me want to deficate in shame of my own guitar playing

5 Hendrix - that guy could knock down a wall with his guitar playing.

Thanks for the background info on Pete.

I have the DVD Peter Frampton -- Live In Detroit. It's great.

I especially love "Can't Take That Away". I listen to that one over and over. Some AWESOME blues guitar by our boy.
