And after you watch Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking barrels a few times, you can decipher any sort of Brit accent.

I'm pretty good with the British accent, but I watched Snatch and that totally confused me.

I know, doesn't he say it forcefully! Nick is so funny... I love watching "Live at Pompeii."

Yeah, Pompeii is always a treat for me. My favorite bits are the first section of Echoes (because it was the first moving pictures I ever saw of the Floyd, and it still gives me shivers), and also when Roger is arguing with that guy about the syballances in the vocals on Obscured by Clouds. Person: "Well, I still don't like the syballances in the vocals on Obscured by Clouds. I never listen to that record." Rog: "Hell, that was a bad cut - that wasn't a bad production, that was a bad cut, and if you listen to the second string of pressings, you'll find that the syballances aren't there." (Person disagrees) Rog: "If you can hear syballances in the second string of pressings, then you've got an extremely over-active imagination. Because they aren't there." I wonder if that's true... anybody own a first pressing vinyl copy of OBC?

Fawlty Towers is the ultimate accent crash course. And The Black Adder is second.

Black Adder, IMO, was a funny effing show. I loved the one with the dictionary. "Think of a word that begins with a B." "Honey." "What?" "You said think of a word that begins with a bee."

British Accents and whatnot... I have trouble with the heavier British accents, but otherwise, I understand them pretty well. I had to serve as an interpreter when I took my mother to see "Billy Elliot", and when we rented it for my stepfather to see it, too. LOL I'm currently addicted to two shows that feature a variety of British accents on a daily basis: Changing Rooms and Ground Force. They're all repeats, for crying out loud, and I still can't quit watching them! There's gotta be subliminal messages or something that keep me tuning in... The same thing goes for Monty Python, though I believe I've confessed my crush on Michael Palin a long time ago... God Bless BBCAmerica... Cheers! GeeDub#1
