Need help finding a program to download music.

I will first say that Kazaa, and Imesh, Audiogalaxy are blocked here at work

I was able to download Morpheus but for whatever reason the thing is dead slow and I am on a T1 line.

What else is out there?

Jason

Yeah, Kazaa is great but my work put a block on the site.

I need alternatives to those mentioned above.

Well, winmx wont install, once again this has to do with my work and not the program. Morpheus is the only program I can use and its taken me two days to get 3 songs on a T1 connection.

Figure that one out?

Thanks for all the help guys.

Maybe you shouldn't use your place of employment to pirate music?

WinMX seems OK if you have a fast connection. At this moment, I'm still struggling with a 56K modum, so dl-ing is so slow it's not worth the effort. But that's soon to change, I'm getting a DSL connection in a few days.

...Maybe if you change extensions? For example from .mp3 to .txt o .doc

By the way I use winmx. Latest version works very well.

Does anyone else experience a good amount of computer crashes when you leave WinMX on for download of a big file? It's extremely annoying, especially as WinMX is otherwise a very nice proggy.
