Take notice guitar players! Great value for all to consider!

Well, I have owned many USA Strats in my day and still own one. Let me tell you, I just brought home a MIM Standard Strat the other day and the thing is sweet as hell.

How much you’re asking? Step back,,,,,,, $340 and I seriously want to stress these things are built nice. The wood is not as high of quality as the USA but its still sweet.

The stock pups are very good considering the price. However, I am thinking of throwing in either some Lace Sensors, Kinmans or Fender Vintage noiseless. New pups would make this great guitar an even greater guitar.

Also, this has that wonderful solid maple neck and fingerboard. Very nice guys.

The reason I am posting this is because knowing what the USA are all about, this is a very close guitar in many ways. For all of you that don’t have $800 for a USA strat this is the one for you, just pick your colour!

Hell, we are on a Floyd site, strats are a must!

I have a MIM Strat. Lovely sunburst job. And a great price, too.

They are definately a good deal. The pickups aren't bad at all. Mine has a rosewood neck, and there aren't any problems with it.

That's why I like Fenders so much. They build genuinely good product.

That is my point exactly. The price of a MIM Strat might suggest its a low end somwhat "beginners" guitar. But these things are anything but.

They play just as nice as any of the USA strats I have owned. Their is many gear snops out there that think that is a guitar is good it has to be made in the USA. In many cases they are correct however the MIM strats are an exception to the rule.

It plays so nice, the fret work is flawless and it gives you the tones and bell like cleans you would expect from a Strat. The only difference is these can be had for $340 brand spankin new.

The pickups sound great but like any typical single coild pickup they can humm quite a bit when useing gain.

This is why I say they are good pups but you can put in some high end pickups of your choice and hot rod your MIM strat that new for less money than a used USA will cost you.

By far one of the best deal on the market right now.
