The three remaining members of Pink Floyd get in a car wreck and all three die. They are standing in front of the Pearly Gates when St. Peter comes up and says, "Oh, Hi guys! I know this is the Just Babbling forum where anyone and everyone can post what they like and start whatever threads they like, but since it is obvious you haven't browsed through that forum, I feel I should let you know there's already a "jokes" thread here: A JOKE--And it's just a joke, RELAX!

The thread in question has 13 pages of jokes and is now so well established - even though started abysmally by A Talking Head - that it really should be where your jokes are posted. I mean, get with the program, dude/dudette.

Btw, I have read your first joke somewhere else on this site - I couldn't be arsed to search through the other "joke" thread to see if it's there or not - but your second one was rather pitiful.

But, as I started this post, so I'll finish it: you can, if you must, post as many new posts and start as many new threads as you like. Paulo (The Piper) may not have to pay for the site according to the number of threads or posts - one hopes not - but filling the place up with duplicates can't be a good thing. In fact, it really pisses me off but I am merely one voice amongst a veritable maelstrom of other voices.

I havent started a new thread for ages in the fear that someone like Byron would grill me for it.

To all newbies: Dont feel that you have to create a thread, or say crazy things to get noticed, 1st impressions do play a part, and for a few of you it does hurt.

By the way, there are two joke threads, the one that Byron mentioned, and another called something like Floyd humor, or something like that.

Baby Floyd - and anyone else who might feel similarly - please do not let my mock fierceness deter you from posting whatever you like, wherever you like. It's not my place to criticise nor my intention. I'm not even pissed off at Piper@Gates for his new thread, just the duplication.

The moderator and/or Paulo are the last word here, but I try to intervene before they do to avoid any animosity toward them. I can take it, but they shouldn't have to.
