As far as I know, the American government cannot ban anything, not even things of a pornographic nature, though they can regulate anything. The only time I have seen the GM video is on a news report about how offensive the video was.

In my opinion, poor George needed a boost in his lackluster sales
thus HE created the controversy. No one, not he White House or the public, really give a damn what he says.

The George Micheal video is actually brilliant.

To be perfectly frank though, it has more of a poke at Tony Blair and his willingness to pander to America's every whim and frankly, 'heel'. I really liked it and was pretty entertained. I can't honestly say that the song's much cop, being a non 'pop' music fan, but...


As for Yog (as his mates probably call him) taking himself too seriously, have you actually seen this video??
