Hello Everyone
Wow I can't believe I have never come across this site before. It's so great to see so many enthusiastic Pink Floyd fans. Let me introduce myself, My name is Pete I'm 18 years old and I live in New Hampshire. My first exposure to Pink Floyd was when I was about 4 years old and my Dad used to play The Delicate Sound of Thunder tape in the car. I fell in love with them ever since. I really started to get heavily into them a few years ago, and have since acquired and enjoyed pretty much every piece of music they have ever put out, including solo projects and such. My favorite albums are Animals, Atom Heart Mother, Meddle, A Saucerful of Secrets, and Wish You Were Here. I really believe Pink Floyd is the single most talented, creative and inspirational group of musicians ever assembled in the history of music. Only a few people I know have somewhat of an idea how wonderful Pink Floyd is but most everyone else only knows the Floyd from a couple of mainstream songs they hear on the radio ... that's too bad. Anyway, it's great to finally be in the company of people who feel just like I do about this magnificent band.

...still haven't figured out which one was Pink, though. He's not listed in the liner notes anywhere

Hi Pete, welcome. Glad you found the site.
If you search thru all the forums you will find a wealth of info and much heated discussion of all things Floyd. Check 'em out and add your comments. It's a great way to burn a few hours.

New Hampshire, huh? Neat place. I lived in Manchester and Laconia for awhile.

They're all kind of pink on the inside, right???

Actually you'll discover that most people are more of a sickly yellowish-grey in lots of places on their insides.
