It also has a lot of crap which puts it behind Animals IMO.

I gave this some thought...but voted for Animals. I do love The Wall. There is so much more quality packed in such little time on Animals. Dogs...there is something mesmerizing about this song. None of the songs on The Wall, have this strong of an effect on me.

Hicks--that's all right. It's an import for some; I understand that can be prohibitive.

No, I was not aware of that one, I'll have to keep an eye out for it. Thanks

I am *sure* that Hicks in his lovely country can easily find a copy of Broken China.

I checked most of the musical shops here: Virgin store, Ricordi and many others. I could find it online, i know; i guess no credit card is needed for online shopping by now, right?

I admit I don't know much about online shopping. I'm also surprised that you can't find the Cd, I remember I saw it on shelves just a few months ago... :o

Se comunque è ancora in catalogo (non lo so) da Virgin si può ordinare senza problemi, se non l'hai già fatto prova a chiedere.

Yannis--I didn't realise where Hicks was from. I just thought that in case he was American, it would be good to tell him it can sometimes be an import. I wonder what would've happened in the space of a few months? Perhaps those remaining sold out?

Fulghum--cool. As I've said before to others, you may have to order it, but I am hoping you will enjoy it. Though get some tissues to have while you listen to it the first time...it's very emotional, especially if you relate personally in any way. Very much worth it in the end.

Hicks- I notice that your 'thing' at the side says you're badly depressed. Did you find a copy of this album after all?

Cheers and cheer up,

Mark

I love both albums and the Wall was my first PF album. But I would probably say animals if I had to choose. I am afterall a teenager so the Wall certainly doesn't help me in terms of my depression, although animals isn't exactly uplifting. But Animals is that kind of music that can send a shiver down my spine, only a few PF songs and Drum Corps can do that to me, so Im going with Animals

I think I'll have to go with the Wall. I just recently got ITAOT, so I've been listening to that more than Animals - with the exception of Pigs on the Wing, which I just like to play along to. I used to really like the song Sheep back when I first got Echoes, but have since fallen out of it.
