The Great 7 bands

I dont like Van Halen very much either.

But, Van Morrisson has "Brown Eyed Girl", and I love folk, so I disagree with him being a crappy artist.

But he still doesnt deserve to make the list :P.

I can't even poll since I like all of the bands and I like them all for different reasons. I feel it's like comparing each year of a corvette they are all great

(could be a bad comparison but.... it will do)

If I could, I would now change my vote to The Doors.

The Beatles, they are probably the most overated band of all time.

i voted for led zeppelin, they are the most overrated band. what the hell is van halen even doing on that list?

As for Harrison, name a guitar player that is well known like him and is WORSE than him...it can't be done easily. It is ironic that most of the bands the Beatles infuenced could play their instruments way better than the fab four.

maybe, but the beatles still made songs a million times better than those of the people they influenced.

Because playing your instrument well is always the best indication of creativity.

i'd say van halen. i think it can be fun stuff to listen to every once in awhile, but i think the other bands made much better music than them

I just voted for the Stones.
Dunno why, but I have an immense hatred of the Stones (mind you, Micks cameo in 'The Rutles' was piss funny!)
I know its not much of a reason, but hell, i'm sticking with it.

Can't understand why anybody would have voted for the Beatles though. I'm sure somebody posted a small list of their songs here, and that doesn't even come close to covering their genius.

And surely anybody who voted for Floyd as the most over-rated has to ask themselves exactly why they are here.....
