Look for the DVD releases of "Roger Waters The Wall in Berlin", "David Gilmour Live At Royal Festival Hall" and "Pink Floyd PULSE" sometime near the end of the summer and into the fall. Not 100% confirmed but looking good!

Re: Reunion: yet another rumour

I laboured over this setlist while I was in England...

The Ultimate Pink Floyd Reunion Show

Starring:
Dave Gilmour
Nick Mason
Roger Waters
Rick Wright

With:
Snowy White
Andy Bown
Dick Parry
Jon Carin
Clare Torry

Okay, this is pure fantasy, but I'd like to make a few things clear. First, Nick will play with PASSION, like he used to. Click tracks will NOT be involved. Second, Rick will play a REAL Hammond organ and a REAL Steinway piano. The synths don't cut it. Third, the rest of the band will ONLY play when necessary and the arrangements will be fairly faithful to the original studio versions (except where noted). Kapeesh?

Setlist:
Shine On You Crazy Diamond Parts I-V (Roger and Dave share lead vocals)
Welcome to the Machine
Wish You Were Here
Shine On You Crazy Diamond Parts VI-IX
Sheep
Pigs on the Wing 1 & 2 (First verse identical to the studio version but with some subdued Hammond from Rick. During Snowy's solo, the rest of the band come in, with Gilmour on a second acoustic guitar to complement Roger's and Andy on bass. Dick, Jon and Clare: sit on your hands, understood? Don't ruin what could be an amazing rendition of this beautiful song.)
Dogs (During the first half of the song, I want two acoustic guitars, like on the studio version, preferably played by Andy and Snowy. Later, Snowy can switch to electric to compliment Dave's solos.)
Obscured By Clouds/When You're In (Now this would be cool... as this rockin' medley is played, the accompanying members of the band gradually walk off stage, leaving just the four Floyds for the next few numbers)
Astronomy Domine (Ummagumma version with Dave singing Syd's part, Rick singing his part, and Rog joining in later on for some extra harmony)
Careful With That Axe, Eugene (The 70's live version)
Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun (Ditto)
Interstellar Overdrive (Not too long... maybe Snowy and Jon can do some stuff)
Echoes, Part I (Just the four Floyds... think Pompeii)
One of These Days (Pompeii arrangement plus Andy on the second bass and Jon adding incidental effects)
Echoes, Part II (Gradually, the rest of the band come back onstage for the finale of this song)
---INTERMISSION---
The Dark Side of the Moon (As close to the studio version as possible, but with new solos and extended jams and stuff)
Hey You (This and the rest of the Wall songs should be played like they were for the original Wall live shows, but without all the theatrics and the big ****ing brick wall in front of the band)
Is There Anybody Out There?
Empty Spaces/What Shall We Do Now? (I know it seems silly to play the songs all out of order, but they can't just do the whole thing right in the middle of the show)
The Happiest Days of Our Lives
Another Brick in the Wall, Part II
Comfortably Numb
Run Like Hell
ENCORE: New songs!

Re: Reunion: yet another rumour

Actually Rick plays always a REAL Hammond in concert. The Hammond B-3 for the record.

The setlist could be better, but everyone of us has his own in mind. Anyway, this isn't the real problem.
The problem is:
Where is Rachel Fury???

Indeed!

And I HAVE to add one song: A 15 min version of "Fat Old Sun" with Dave and Snowy doing a 5 to 6 min guitar bridge.

Re: Reunion: yet another rumour

Sorry Hicks, I tried to restrict it to songs they can still actually PLAY... and I'm convinced Dave just can't hit that last note of Voices. Nor can Roger summon enough strength to beat the crap out of those cymbals. It would be cheesy to have someone else do those.

The whole thing would be about 3.5 hours in total. But they get to have breaks in between while we watch videos.
