Gmt

This isn't really important but I'm curious as to why the GMT time is always an hour behind the actual time, for instance the time on my pc is now 14:10 but the time on the site says 13:10
As I said, it's not important, it's just bugging me.

Click on "user cp" then on "edit options" and in the Time offset list select the one of your country.

Yup, already done all that, there's still an hours difference between the "site time" and the "real" time tho!!

Ok, where it says 02:14pm as the time after your last post the actual time here in the UK is 03:14pm, like I said it's only a trivial thing, I'm just curious.

Because, dear Dr Cheese, you and I and everybody else in Great Britain are currently "passing our time in the grassland away" under British Summer Time (BST) which is GMT+1 until we "Fall backward" an hour in October to regular GMT.

Simple really when you think about it.

Having trouble understanding, D_F_F or just a continuation of your single-word/smiley posting habit?

I see, in my foolishness I'd assumed that would be accounted for.

At least I can sleep easily now

No problem.

But remember, "assumption is the mother of all f**k-ups."

Re: Gmt

Dear Sir,

I wish to complain most strongly. I thought Gmt was Gerald (the) Mouse Thread. I thought that this was our opportunity to discuss the wit and repartee of everyone's favourite panda. Instead, its old Cheese wittering on about time.

yours faithfully

Re: Gmt

Dear Sir,
I really must protest at the condition of the photograph that you sent! It looked as if a lobster had wiped it's bottom on it, not to mention the ring mark from your coffee cup, which had obviously been sitting on top of it since god knows when. I notice that someone has written on the back of the photo 'buy washing up liquid on the way home'. Can you find out if this a personal message from Gerald?
I intend to write to my Member of Parliament about this shoddy treatment and I shall never shop with you again.

yours faithfully
