Re: Favourite early single?

Okay, I'll vote for yet another pointless poll.

F: "None of the above"

Re: Favourite early single?

"It would be so nice" is my choice. It has a wonderful B-side: Julia Dream, which is one of my favourites of the early era.

A nice pair indeed!

Re: Favourite early single?

I've always considered that song very weird. A sort of Maxwell's Silver Hammer which appeared before it. Quite a unique song.

Re: Favourite early single?

Why what? Why is the poll pointless or why I voted for "none of the above"?

Pointless because it is, and none of the choices listed are my favourite early PF singles.

Re: Favourite early single?

I had no idea "It Would Be So Nice" and "Julia Dream" were together--all the better, as I like both!

Re: Favourite early single?

I must admit i've never heard "point me at the sky", having to choose from the above i'll say Arnold Layne, It would be so nice is a close second, and i think Julia Dream, Candy and a Current Bun and Paint Box should have been included

Re: Favourite early single?

I think we should consider every single's B-side when voting. I actually voted for the couple, not just for the A-side.

The B-sides are:

Arnold Layne/Candy And A Currant Bun
See Emily Play/Scarecrow
Apples And Oranges/Paint Box
It Would Be So Nice/Julia Dream
Point Me At The Sky/Careful With That Axe Eugene
