| DVD Audio More interesting, maybe, is that Warner Bros. are going to release 60 classic albums on 26th August remixed into 5.1 digital surround sound. Even more interesting is the news that EMI are following close behind with a Beatles ( ) greatest hits package to be followed by other selected offerings. Let's hope they don't forget the classic albums by a certain other band that they have in their catalogue!! |

| I am pretty sure that EMI will not forget a bestseller like Dark Side and it will be in the number of the "selected offerings". The success of the format is another issue, though. What about the SACD? The large success of the DVD video format is obviously a good premise but with new technologies you just never know. By the way I believe The Dark Side Of The Moon was the very first CD released by EMI. Am I wrong? |
