| Re: VH1's "greatest" lists Mainly, it isn't musicians but people who work in the music industry. These guys are cold calculating bastards, who don't understand music, but marketing. Marketing Floyd is very hard. Mainly the music sells itself, rather than the looks or personalities of the band members. I'd hardly agree with any of the poll numbers. On the similarly titled thread, of the same subject matter, I took issue with the fact that Stevie Wonder has more recognition than Aretha Franklin.
