I know Money all the way through... it would take hours to tab it. Sorry.

1. Unplug your bass 2. Put PULSE CD2 on your stereo 3. Skip to Track 6 4. Grip the neck of the bass with your left hand and place your right hand in front of the pickup 5. Move your fingers whenever you hear the bass playing There. Good luck with it, hope that helps.

well during the guitar solo the bass line is: G------------ D------------ A--2-5-4-3- E------------ use quarter notes and repeat for a while then G------------- D--2-5-4-3- A------------- E------------- for just a few lines then G------------- D------------- A------------- E--2-5-4-3-- then the decending lick, just surf the web for it, you can find the whole song

I know how to play the basic stuff, but I am thinking of the quiet Jam... with the cool bass thumb slapping

Re: Money - live on Pulse ( how to play on bass) Ok. another question: How do you play the bass-solo on One Slip from the DSOT vhs? It sounds like Guy Pratt has taken a way to many pills before he went on stage

Re: Money - live on Pulse ( how to play on bass) I cannot stand Guy Pratt. I don't know what it is I just Do. Perhaps I am just so jealous that bastard gets to play with the floyd.

Re: Money - live on Pulse ( how to play on bass) I kinda understand you, and other people that can't stand him. I think it has something to do with him taking over for Roger, and doing flawless job. I have yet to hear Pratt play a single note wrong, and on top of that he can sing just as well as Roger. So yes, I think it has something to do with jealusy. But for me Guy Pratt is all - It was he who made me buy a bass 8 years ago.I remember him saying on a pink floyd tour documentary done by mtv during the Division bell tour, "that he never dreamt playing with the floyds, cause they allready had a bassplayer who was making and writing the whole lot of it"

Re: Money - live on Pulse ( how to play on bass) Yeah he's a very good bass player. But he's just not the pink floyd sound. Roger was shit, relatively at playing the bass guitar. You cant recreate shit. No offence at all I love Roger. I think he is brilliant.

Re: Money - live on Pulse ( how to play on bass) the only complaint i have about guy pratt's playing is that - when the bass line written by Roger is supposed to play a single note, Pratt always has to make it some kind of jumpy quarter note rythm. Some songs need a quiet, boring bass! He doesn't allow that to happen. No offence to him though, he can play the bass like crazy, and belt it out pretty good too

Re: Money - live on Pulse ( how to play on bass) I forgot to add - I think it takes some of the "trippyness" out of the songs
