Favorite Division Bell Moments

I read a thread not too long ago that dealt with "favorite pink floyd moments". So then I thought, why not a thread for favorite Division Bell moments? here are mine:

1. When the keyboard goes into the last 30 seconds of "Marooned"

2. Keep talking, when the guitar solo ends and the keyboard solo begins. Also on the same song, the guitar noises that come in near the end of the keyboard solo.

3. When gilmour says "the f-word" on lost for words. I believe that's a pink floyd first.

4. And finally, on High Hopes, when the keyboard and the bell are playing, in the beginning of the track.

The F-word in a Floyd song is not new.

Did you know that the bell/keyboard part is used on the Frontline commercials.

1) The very end of "Cluster One"--runs a chill up my spine.

2) "Poles Apart"--The verse containing "The rain fell slow down on all the rooves of uncertainty".

3) "Marooned"--The part where the guitar seems to do a racking sob, and the very end where the song seems to find peace

4) "Wearing the Inside Out"--Lots of moments in this...here are some favourites: when the trumpet synthesiser kicks in, and the heartbeat at the end.

5) "Take It Back"--The middle section

6) "Coming Back to Life"--The first verse Mr. Gilmour sings

7) "High Hopes"--The ascending sequence in the middle

Actually TDB is one of my favorite PF albums. I could just say "The entire thing".

As I have stated before on another thread. I think Dave's solo on Coming Back To Life is his best. I love to listen to it, I love to play it, it's just the best IMO.

-The middle section on Poles Apart and how it transitions to "The rain fell slow".

-"I never thought that you'd lose that light in your eyes" from PA.

-The middle part of Take It Back with all the children singing.

-The transition from Take It Back to Coming Back To Life.

-The part in Keep Talking where the guitar solo seems to melt into the keyboards.

-The intro to Lost For Words.

-"Charlie, is that you?" at the end of the album.

Catcruise,
The f*** word can be heard on "Not now John" from The Final Cut : "F*** all that we've got to get on with these"

- Cluster one, when the guitar steps in, gives me the chills, feel like I'm sitting on a roof watching the stars.

- Poles Apart, "I thought of you and the years and all the sadness fell away from me" - one of my fav floyd quotes, very non-floydian optimistic.

- Coming back to life, the intro solo and the singing following.

- Guitar screaming in the fadeout of high hopes, dunno about you guys but to me it sounds like the end of pink floyd (if it really is we still have to see) but it sure sounds like it, always feel a little down after that.

Cheers

-The notes of piano at the very beginning of Cluster One.

-The hammond in the middle of Poles Apart

-Dave singing "Forever and ever" on High Hopes

-Transition between guitar and synth solo in Keep Talking

-"you can have anything you want"

And really many others.

Ohhh, forgot all about "not now john" and "Pigs". Charade I am.

In that case, first song written by gilmour to use the "f-word".

And I didn't know that, NNJ, thanks for pointing it out to me(about the frontline commercial).

I'm glad i'm not the only one who noticed the best part of Keep Talking-- the guitar/synth transition. Did anyone notice the guitar that came in a few times at the end of that solo? I thought that was a nice touch.

Er, what about "please just **** with me" in Candy and a Currant Bun?

Favourite moment of TDB: When it's over.

Botley--I've heard some people say that's what that lyric is, but are you sure...?

"F*ck" is what many websites report. And if you listen to the song you have to admit that if it's "walk", well, Syd pronounces that word in a very suspect way.
