Ok, Ok Guys..I give in!!!

I have returned to my pc this bright and beautiful morning to see if anyone has been so kind as to reply to my thread of yesterday.
How pleased I was to see that, yes, I had 11 replies!!
After reading them, I was in floods of tears and decided to write suicide notes to all my friends and family. I built myself a gallows in my bedroom and put my head in the noose. Sadly, my cat came in and pushed a chair under my feet thus foiling my attempt at ending my sad and sorry life.
I have recovered enough today to type this thread but my psychiatrist believes that I may be scarred for life by the way I was treated by The Pink Floyd Fan Network!
I am a mere hippy who knows not a lot about these things and I consider myself stripped and whipped for starting such a futile thread and wasting precious space...I bow down to you all and offer my most deepest and humble apologies

Just be glad you only compared Pink Floyd with The Beatles. Anybody/thing else and you'd have risked a very severe savaging indeed.

One cannot help but notice, also, that instead of adding to an already existent "futile thread and wasting precious space" [your words, not mine] you've created another futile post and wasted yet more precious space [my words this time ].

Oh come on there is no doubt in my mind that Pink Floyd is the ultimate band. Best ever no question about it

The Blind Ducks.

Al Anderson : Guitar/Voacls
Steve Zeschke: Bass
Jeff Dewey: Drums
Tim Hagen : Keyboards
Dave Fulghum : Guitar/vocals (yup, that's me)

These guys rocked, IMO, the best that ever played Dewey's Garage. No one could touch their version of Baba O'Riley. Yep, the best of the best. The Beatles and Floyd could learn a thing or two from these guys.

I remember when The Blind Ducks and The Shane Guy Experiment did a world tour together. They sold out Shea Stadium in approximately 3 minutes and 25 seconds.

(Of course, TSGE was the real draw! )

Those were the days eh? The Who and Peter Frampton were playng across town and couldn't fill a small bar as I recall.

Too bad the Ducks had to lend TSGE some groupies to keep them warm at night.

And as I remember, didn't Stratman and the Dubious Distinctions joins us for a few of the Stadium dates???
