The sad part, I know guys who can bang on trash cans and buckets, seriously, and drum circles around Nick. Yet he's the one with millions in royalties. Not bashing him, just saying, if anyone was freeloading, it was him.

Dave's old drummer mate from Jokers Wild, Clive Welham, ate his liver out 'cause he felt he was a better drummer than Nick, but was just not in the right place at the right time.

He's cool, too.

Rick is still worthless...man I have never seen a larger group of uninformed people...at least there still are a few people that know that roger was the only important one...and ALL of his solo works are 10 times better the Richard "raildriver" Wright

So go and talk to them , I don't think there's many people here who are interested in your ridiculous opinions, yannis was right you're just a flamer. Go and play your games somewhere else.

"...we came in."

Ah, the True Pink Floyd Fan debate re-visited, come full circle. It's been a while.

I suppose gamesformay has forgotten the ORIGINAL line-up for the The Pink Floyd Sound, headed by one Syd [the Beat] Barrett.

Hmmm...?

i suppose you were unaware that at the time that Roger started pink Floyd that syd wasn't in the band...roger ASKED syd to join HIS band...and when syds irresponsibilty overcame him roger asked syd to leave HIS band...go read the pink floyd history chart at "A Fleeting Glimpse"

Yawn.

You are either:

A) Someone who is already on this site using a double identity to stir things up

or

B)A total jackass who doesn't realize that no one cares.

Yep... what a pointless thread is this one, everybody knows Rog was the mind of the group, especially in 72-82 period... and so? Shall we throw shit on other members for this? Why?

I was going to write what would have been a lengthy list of Wright-written material SINCE 1968, but realized that's ultimately pointless. I remember reading that they started out with the name The Architectural Abdabs. How appropriate--structure and magic. Where would we be without the atmospheric moods of Rick's keys, even when present as a mere background or solo?
