Re: rick wright

What a way to introduce yourself! :o

Anyway, I don't think so.

And you'd better watch out - I already know a certain 'Wright-Satellite' who will be on your case!

Let battle commence, I love to watch a good fight! Although I reckon gamesformay may be just doing a spot of mischief making to get a reaction.

Re: rick wright

oh no...i truly feel that Rick is a waste...Roger should have kicked him out right after he kicked Syd out...

pink floyd ended in 1985...Roger had a press conference...three men have pretended to be roger ever since

Re: rick wright

yes...i still can't believe there are people out there who can't come to grips with it...wasn't Roger three years of tours enough to show that he wrote all the songs?...or do you people actually believe that Dave playing a guitar solo(they are all easy, btw) constitutes writing a song....cause dave hasn't written lyrics(other than a song or two)...he HIRES people to write lyrics

Re: rick wright

Ok, Rog was the creative one... but still Wright is not a freeloading coke addict

Re: rick wright

a)Rick was a coke addict...do some research

b)Rick did not write any lyrics after 1968...and what you folks call his songwriting talents was actually him playing a few piano and organ bits that Roger(and dave to some very small extent) turned into songs

Re: rick wright

OK, the guy may have been a coke addict... by the time of The Wall. I doubt he was a coke addict before Animals.

Second, just becasue you don't write lyrics dosen't mean you aren't an intergral part of the band.

And he didn't write stuff? What do you call Great Gig in the Sky? That was all Wright.

And if we're going to get into musicianship, then Roger wasen't the greatest musician, either.

Re: rick wright

So, what to say about Mason, another freeloading pain in the ass for Rog?

You're entitled to your own opinion of course, even if it's wrong , Roger may well have written all the lyrics but without music lyrics are just words. You may have convinced yourself that Roger was the be all and end all of Floyd but I think most people are more informed.
Hi btw , helluva way to get started around here!
