Obscured by a Bibleful of Secrets

Hello all! For years now, I've been making Floyd film synchs and now that I finally have a computer, I'm trying to get at least a few out there. I'd like to share with you one of my best. It took quite a while to put together, so please enjoy and tell me what you think. Also, I have more of these if anyone's interested. Recipe: 1 film/The Bible a.k.a. John Huston's The Bible; 2 Pink cd's: A Saucerful of Secrets and Obscured by Clouds. Instructions: Mute TV. Pop in "Saucerful" and program tracks this order: 5,2,3. At the beginning of the film, when the words "Directed by John Huston" disappear, unpause cd. The music develops an "order from chaos" theme as you watch the creation of the world. The first 5-10 minutes of this acts as a mood synch, and the connections really fall into place when the organ fades in. Track 2 should begin when a shot of Adam pulling his hand away from his reflection in water switches to a moving shot of the trees. Track 3 should begin when a shot from above of Adam and Eve switches to horses. **A special note here regarding a subtlety you may not otherwise catch: When Eve takes her first bite of the apple, you will hear a crunching sound in the music. Pause FILM at the end of track 3 when Adam is making his way toward Eve through the trees. Switch cd's to "Obscured" and program tracks this order: 1,2,6,7,10. Unpause music and film simultaneously. The lyrics work wonderfully and most consistently with track 7(Childhood's End). Track 10 and the whole thing ends on a comical note with Noah looking very confused.
