Secret Machines on their "In The Round" Tour

This particular show was a little different than most. Instead of the typical end stage set up, there were three mini-stages facing each-other in the middle, with a band member on each. It made for great viewing no matter where you stood.

The show itself was fantastic. The sound mixing was a little iffy for the first few songs, but then it got much better. The band played all of my favorites, and did some really cool takes on their studio tracks. All in all, a killer show.

Katatonia/Moonspell

I've become a big fan of Katatonia, and they did not disappoint. My only gripe was that they didn't play longer!

Moonspell was good as well, but I'm not their biggest fan (only familiar with their newest album). They were still pretty entertaining though.

Big Fish last saturday! What a fucking night, it was absolutely fantastic!

Wow. Pete and Roger can still rock...seems like Pete's playing just gets better as time goes on.

Hard to believe that I saw the 'original farewell tour' for the Who back in 1982 (at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Az). Great show! To show how long ago that was...Loverboy and John Cougar Mellencamp were the warm-up bands.

Glad the show was good, Brainwashed - I hope to see them while they're out on tour, too.

I'm seeing The Who in a week or two!

i went to a pink floyd cover band concert last night (they are called the pink floyd experience)
they opened up with in the flesh & did another brick in the wall prt.2
then they did sheep, one of these days, Astronomy Domine, shine on you crazy diamond, & they did every song from dsotm,...after dsotm they had a guy come out dressed as the guy on front of Delicate Sounds Of Thunder...he had the light balbs working & stuff it was cool...& after that they did hey you, comfortably numb....& run like hell...durring run like hell they sent out a huge flying pig & i thought that was funny

but the singer was bad....but every thing was perfict :n)

The NZ tribute band? I saw them in Wellington and they were awesome, although their version of DSotM is a direct lift from PULSE rather than their own interpretation of the studio LP.

Still bloody ace, mind!

o idk....like the guy who sung had a strong accent...idk what it was..but he used alot of hand motions & stuff & it got rather annoying...& i didn't like how they had the bassist over in the corner....he was great when he did one of these days
