| Re: Favorite Concerts/Recent Shows... Sleepytime Gorilla Museum. Very awesome and very weird. Highly recommended (really excellent live performers), but not for the lighthearted. |

| Re: Favorite Concerts/Recent Shows... Jethro Tull. They sounded pretty good. The in between song banter was hillarious. |

Except they never come to Ireland. The best one so far was the Who. |

| Re: Favorite Concerts/Recent Shows... They're well worth the wait, really. Except they skipped that great fast part from Aqualung. And Budapest was really way too long. But they played some of their early blues stuff, and that was just amazing. |

Oh, and last night I saw Katatonia, who were awesome. Swedish metal with clean vocals? Yes please. |

| Re: Favorite Concerts/Recent Shows... I saw Rush last saturday, it was pretty good if you forget about the drunken men behind me who kept yelling at us that we couldn't possibly like the band because we were "kids who look like they are sixteen years old and you know that kids don't like good music" Kinda ruined the atmosphere part for me |

| Re: Favorite Concerts/Recent Shows... I just saw Steve Page play a free lunchtime concert in support of VQA wines. Dan Aykroyd joined him on harp and vocals for a rousing finale of "Got My Mojo Workin'". Not bad at all! |

| Re: Favorite Concerts/Recent Shows... Jethro Tull in Denver. Killer show! Warning to Lily (and others), setlist spoilers below: Great set list, some really great new takes on old classics (they did a drastic reworking of "Aqualung" that was fantastic) but also pulled out some oldies (around 4 songs from "Stand Up") and unexpected tracks ("King Henry's Madrigal" was a highlight for me). They also played their live version of "Thick As A Brick" (my favorite Tull song/album) which was something I'd really hoped for. All around awesome; Ian almost seems more energetic than he was a couple years ago. I also like the bassist and keyboardist they have with them. |

| Re: Favorite Concerts/Recent Shows... Me and the Mrs. saw The Boss on Thursday night...another great Springsteen show (although not as good as the 1999 reunion tour). He and the E Street Band can still play some straight-ahead rock & roll. |
