I like all of the artists on that list..some more than others though, but IMO they are all EXELLENT.

New to the board, plan to fomally introduce myself later. The only band in the world that would have prevented me from voting for Pink Floyd was Rush and that's who i voted for. I hope to get some love for that..

By the way, to the individual who asked "Who is Rush?" First, I would say, GET OUT OF YOUR CAVE and 2nd...you have about 20 hours of music to listen to....so get out there and Rock...and Roll the Bones

I totally agree , how the hell am I supposed to pick from this, there are some bands that are not even on there that should be, you can't vote on this stuff every band is good in their own right except van halen i dunno if they are on there or not, but van halen sucks, but what about the doors? Grateful dead? what is the deal with emerson lake and palmer? crosby stills nash and young are better then them, fletwood mac? jefferson airplane is better then them, what about Jazz bands like weather report? Yes is a good band i am glad to see them on there, where is cream or derek and the dominos, both better the emerson lake and palmer?

I dunno, i am a huge floyd fan, but they are more experiemental rock then just straight up rockand roll, i think that you wanted just a straight up rock band you would have to go with the who, or the stones, they are Rock in its purest form. Also where the hell is Jimi Hendrix?
