Question What Shall We Do Now?

Allright, I know that this song was taken off the album near the end of the making, because of time limitations. But after hearing this on the movie, I cna't get my mind off this song(I listen to this alot ever since I saw the movie a while ago). Does anybody know if the ACTUAL version of this song exsists? I mean, the one in the movie has sound effects added to it for the movie, plus glass breaking at the end, and by listening to the live versions, I have noted that this is different from how it should sound. The closest thing I have is the movie version, and a demo version of it. If anybody knows where to find an actual version of this song, the one that was intended for the album, without movie sound-effects or whatever added to it, please help. Thanks!

There is no said "real" version, only the version on the movie and ITAOT. The soundtrack album was scrapped, never released.

I thought Guthrie was still working on the soundtrack, along with Dave and Rick's solo albums, in between sessions to mix the 5.1 DTS soundtrack of PULSE and DST for DVD... okay, he's a busy man, but I'd still like to see a real soundtrack "available on CBS records and tapes" sometime in the future.

I actually thought it would be cool if a sort of a PF 'anthology' (like the Beatles) would be released.

That would be cool.

Household Objects, anyone? Those tapes have to still exist.

If there's something in the PF archives which will NEVER see the light of day, I think it's The Household Objects tracks.

And I am not sure I want to hear that stuff, quite frankly.

I hate to say it but you'll see all the old stuff thats locked away be released when the bands dead and the families try to bilk every dime out of the name "Pink Floyd"!
