Does anyone remember when your 8 track tape would stick to the head (needed demagnatizing) and a loop of the tape, a foot long or so, would come out, and then you'd grab the one side and pull quickly and the tape would come out a little ways and then suck it right back up and it would play perfect after the tape was reeled in, I'm sure most everybody knew that trick. BTW, I owned/wore out 4 of those (Animals) 8 tracks on my GE loudmouth, and bought a total of 6 of those 8 tracks, all were properly worn out completely.

Yeah they're a bit of a pain to take care of but rewarding in a freaky kind of way...
