Music Today

I don't know why, but to me today's music is so one dimensional. Every song i hear sounds like 100 other songs out right now. Are artists today just this uncreative, or is it what the mainstream record comapanies want them to do?

Re: Music Today

The 2nd you said, no one cares about music in the musical scene today; a fake plastic pair of boobs, a roundish ass and a cute doll unexpressive face are the passport to success.
There are many good artist out there indeed, and their ignored

Re: Music Today

I could not agree with you more Hicks. Today's music scene is all about the look. It is almost like no one cares about the music anymore, all they care about is how good the artist looks. There are many great artists with great music out there that will never be reconized because their look is not "marketable".

Re: Music Today

I just wish artists today would put a little more creativity into their music I guess.

Re: Music Today

It's just a way of saying that certain people are suited to certain things, I can't stand rap, hip hop and all that kind of stuff so I avoid it like the plague and I'm sure people who do enjoy that sort of music would find my musical tastes equally as objectionable. Each to their own.

i hate all the other rap - but as for Eminem - *sigh* i just cant help but like it... its not the music really tho, its just so angry & bitter that it appeals to me...

anyway i guess with some music its just the mood that ppl like, or what it suggests, rather than the actual "music", or lack of..

whatever...
