I need some help with a music assignment

I am researching 60s psychedelic rock with specific reference to Pink Floyd's "Piper at the Gates" and Beatles' "Sgt Pepper"... I was just wondering if anyone has or knows of resources that document the production of these two albums? Preferably with regard to recording techniques / musical influences and techniques that lend to the psychedelic nature of these two albums....
Grazie Mille.

There is a good interview with George Martin and I believe Alan Parsons on the production of Sgt. Pepper on the Beatles Anthology DVD or VHS. You may want to see if you can run down a copy.

You could also track down a copy of the book The Complete Beatles Recording Sessions, if only to look at the Sgt. Pepper era. This book reconstructs the band's recording sessions on a day-to-day basis, and is blessed with absolutely great detail.

You'll get the info you need on the Beatles in that one.

On Pink Floyd, however, a lot of the same techniques were used, being that the two albums were recorded at basically the same time (April-June 1967).

Do as Da_Floyd_Fan suggested. go to www.google.com and punch in some keywords.(like "Pink Floyd Piper Gates" for example) You'll find a gazillion related sources of info and websites.
