Yeah, that "Das Kapital" post was a doozey. It was even more annoying than the post quoting 15 pages of New England Medical Journal by A Talking Ass. But, of course, that is not in contention, by definition.

Well, there was a whole dialogue about Communism. Maybe I should've nominated ALL of that...but of that thread, I'd say that one post really stands out in my mind as utterly ridiculous!

I nominate a joke I made concerning Byron's namesake and Shelly, the poet. Still ashamed of that one.

And if I am not allowed to nominate my own stuff, it would have to be one of the many "Hi, my name is _____, and I am new here" posts.
