I considered that poll, in a long tedious line of long tedious polls, one that could all too easily foment disorder and ill feeling amongst APFFN members.

For the most part, my main objection was being including amongst the choices; I did not want to risk being the subject of member disputes over their favourite APFFN member, likened to those over PF minutiae elsewhere.

FWr: not sarcastic, initially just a bit over the top in my vehement objection, and, as you can see, I wondered even then if locking it would be a sensible request.
